Best advice you ever received?

My parents set the example that life is 10 percent of what happens to you and 90 percent how you react.

What do you consider your biggest break so far?

I came to Waypoint at the right time, allowing me to rebuild the Resource Development & Marketing department.

What would most people be surprised to learn about you?

I spent two summers (one in England and one in Hawaii) in college on military bases running summer camps for military children.

What’s the biggest issue facing the Corridor, and why?

Affordable housing. Providing this basic need is vital to the well-being of individuals and families.

If you had $1 million to give, what causes would you support?

Waypoint and Knox Blocks Foundation.

What are your passions outside of the workplace?

I love going on adventures with my family — fishing, boating, camping, day trips and weekend getaways. I also love playing sports and creating artwork with my kids.

What do you want to accomplish by the time you are 50?

Having adult children who have compassionate hearts and understand how valuable happiness in your life. I also want to continue to help Waypoint thrive.
