After three quarters of a century, Skogman Companies has a proven track record of success that helped it earn Best of titles in this year’s commercial and residential real estate categories.
Skogman Realty stands out with its high level of service and an empowered staff, President Chris Skogman said. The company’s agents work together as a team, rather than working only for their own sales.
Skogman Commercial, meanwhile, has the largest and most experienced team of commercial real estate agents in the Corridor, according to vice president and broker Doug Laird, translating into more real estate connections, more roles on government boards that deal with land use issues, and more credibility with local governments.
Skogman Homes has developed a refined system for building homes over its 75 years and five generations in business, said Matt Skogman, vice president of sales. He noted that most Skogmans live in subdivisions they’ve built, getting new ideas and feedback from their customers who are also their neighbors. The company’s homes division will build about 110 new homes this year in Cedar Rapids and about 50 in Cedar Falls.
