What was your biggest break?
When my husband had a sit-down conversation with me about how working from home in my sweats was clearly not good for my soul. That push started the ball rolling on what became The House.
What would most people be surprised to learn about you?
I am definitely an extroverted introvert. I love being around people and socializing, but it actually drains me. I need peace, quiet and alone time to recharge.
How do you ensure a balance between work and your personal life?
Honestly, I don’t believe in work-life balance. I believe in loving what I do, surrounding myself with people who wholeheartedly support me and focusing on only three things at any one time: something that requires personal growth, something that requires professional growth and something that requires relationship growth.
What’s something people should know about your generation in the workplace?
When there is a connection between what we’re working on and what sets our souls on fire, we’re unstoppable.
